• Calvary United Methodist Church (403 S. Main St.) will have free craft tables set up for kids to enjoy in their parking lot.
• Main Street from Prospect Road to Paradise Avenue will be closed from 4 to 9 p.m. A portion of Park Avenue from Main to Cross Street as well as Veterans Way will also be closed during the same times. Please remember to be kind to Public Works and Police who are working the road closure.
• Bowen’s Bus Service Inc. will be providing shuttle services at four stops: Prospect Road and Main Street by Liquidity Aleworks, Mount Airy Elementary School, Watkins Park tennis courts and Cross Street. (The buses are handicap accessible.)
• Patrons can also park in Watkins Park and walk Rails to Trails East to get Downtown and back if they do not wish to use the shuttle service. The trail is about 1/3 of a mile long.
• Parking will not be allowed in the Municipal Lot (1 Veterans Way) beginning at 9 a.m. Aug. 31. The parking lots by the B & O Caboose and in the Railyard will be closed beginning at 3 p.m. Violators will be towed at owner's expense.
• We highly encourage folks to utilize either the shuttle service or walk Rails to Trails to get to and from the event as there will be VERY limited parking in the streets around the event.
The Town is looking forward to a great day of community fun! We hope you will join us!
