One of Mount Airy’s most cherished events -- A Main Street Christmas -- is happening Saturday, Dec. 6!
The festivities kick off with the official Town tree lighting ceremony at 5:30 p.m. in the Railyard (1 N. Main St.) with the Mayor, Town Council and several specially selected local students. Then get ready as the annual holiday parade makes its way down Main Street with appearances by nonprofits, local businesses, community organizations and Santa Claus! The parade route starts at Mount Airy Elementary School (405 N. Main St.) and ends at Calvary United Methodist Church (403 S. Main St.).
