The Mount Airy Farmers Market is excited to partner with the Mount Airy Police Department to host their National Night Out celebration on Wednesday, Sept. 10 in
Watkins Park.
The goal of the National Night Out event is to enhance the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. The event also provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances.
The MAPD will have first responder exhibits and apparatuses, kids activities, a DJ, and more.
The farmers market will be open from 3 to 7 p.m. while the National Night Out festivities will run from 4 to 9 p.m. There will be some free giveaways in the police area on the soccer field but all vendors in the farmers market area have products for sale.
We hope to see you there during this fun night of community!
