    UPDATE: The October 20, 2020 meeting will be at the Simpson-Baker-Bowlus Pop Up Park at 5:30 PM. The Beautification Commission meets the third Tuesday of every month at Town Hall, 110 S. Main Street, Mount Airy, MD 21771. Meetings begin promptly at 7:00 p.m.

  1. Historical Society of Mount Airy Quilt Raffle

    September 28, 2020 - November 30, 2020 @ Mount Airy Historical Society Museum

    The Historical Society of Mount Airy is holding a Quilt Raffle for a one-of-a-kind 50" x 50.5" quilt handmade by Nanci O'Brien of the Animal Health Center. The beautiful quilt is available for viewing at the Historical Society Museum in the Mount Airy Train Station, 1 N. Main Street, Mount Airy. Tickets can be purchased online at https://www.mountairyhistoricalsociety.org/ or in person at Blossom and Basket Boutique, The Train Station Museum or at Mackenzie the Caboose. Drawing will be on November 30, 2020 and will be posted live at https://www.facebook.com/mountairymaryland

  3. Mount Airy CROP Hunger Walk

    October 31, 2020, 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM @ St. Andrews Presbyterian Church parking lot for an easy walk around Watkins Park trail

    CROP Hunger Walks are community-wide events sponsored by Church World Service and organized by local church and civic groups to raise funds to end hunger at home through local food pantries and social service agencies, and world-wide through grass-roots, hunger-fighting efforts. In addition, the Mount Airy CROP Hunger Walk will retain 25% of funds raised to support hunger-fighting programs locally through the Mt. Airy NET.
