It is National Farmers Market Week which is an annual celebration highlighting the vital role farmers markets play in our nation’s food system.
Even Mother Nature is celebrating as the forecast is expecting sunny skies and temperatures in the high 70s/low 80s. It will be the perfect day to come the Mount Airy Farmers Market set for 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday in Watkins Park, 615 Center St. There will be more than 40 vendors on site to include produce, baked goods, jewelry, teas, honey, Mexican food, salsas, pierogis, pizza, libations, jams and so much more!
Will Sevick from Forging and Welding by Will will be doing some awesome demonstrations of his craft. Dependable Dog Services will be hosting a free class on impulse control at 5 p.m. We will also have live music by Brady OConor who played the market last year from 5 to 7 p.m.
