[ARCHIVED] Fall Safe Streets Campaign kicks off

Safe Streets

With children going back to school and more people on the roadways, the Town and the Streets and Roads Commission are kicking off their Fall Safe Streets Campaign beginning Friday and running until Sept. 22. This grassroots campaign's goal is to promote and educate residents on driver and pedestrian safety.

If you have a speeding or pedestrian safety concern near your home, on your street, or in your neighborhood, you can be part of this grassroots campaign by requesting one or more Safe Streets Campaign yard signs.

Contact the Town at 301-829-1424 and we will deliver and place the signs at your locations or come to Town Hall to pick up a sign(s).

Through this campaign, we encourage folks to please "Slow Down for Your Home Town."
