With all the rain that has fallen over the past 24 hours. the Town has decided to move today's Mount Airy Farmers Market to the parking lots at Watkins Park, 615 Center St.
Please do not park in the back three parking lots of the park as those spots need to go to our vendors. Patrons may park in the lots by the basketball court and St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church which has graciously given us permission to use their lot for this event.
If the rain stops and fields are OK to play on for sporting events, Parr's Ridge Elementary School is an option for parking after 4:30 p.m.
We appreciate everyone's patience with trying to navigate the rain. We hope you will come out and support our amazing vendors at the market today (Wednesday) from 3 to 7 p.m.
