Vaccination Clinic

Vaccination Clinic image for website Opens in new windowAs a result of Mayoral Coordination with the Carroll County Health Department (CCHD), the CCHD has agreed to hold a 3rd COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic in Mount Airy at Mount Airy Middle School. Bill Butts has coordinated a group of volunteers that have assisted us in an outreach effort to connect with a vulnerable demographic, those in our area who are without internet or computer access. He formed a task force to reach out via phone to that community and ask if they need assistance in receiving the COVID-19 vaccine. The Kiwanis, Mount Airy Rotary and 55+ group worked feverishly over the weekend to reach that group. If you know anyone in that demographic, please share their contact information with so that we can make sure they have been contacted.

Since there are still many slots available, the clinic is open to anyone 18 years or older who is interested in receiving the vaccine.  Clinic Information:

When registering, please enter "No Insurance" on the insurance information page. This information is not needed since this is a federally funded vaccination.

You must register by this Tuesday, April 27th to ensure the correct number of vaccines are brought to the clinic.

The image below indicates the entrance to the clinic.  There will be personnel there who are able to assist anyone with mobility issues.  These clinics run very smoothly, but please note they do request that you stay in the observation area for 15 minutes after you receive your injection. There will be emergency technicians available for anyone who may have an adverse reaction.

While you are waiting your 15 observation time, you are encouraged to register for the second dose, follow-up clinic.  A link will be provided at the clinic to register for a time at the same location, Mount Airy Middle School, on May 26th.

Please feel free to contact with any questions.
